The pharmacist studies the composition and processes of medicines, cosmetics and hygiene products, among others. You can work with acupuncture, pharmaceutical audit, blood bank, urban pest control, veterinary pharmacy, herbal medicine, residuals management, forensic toxicology, etc. Pharmacies and drugstores are obligated to have pharmacists on their staff, so the job market is wide. But there are also opportunities in public and private hospitals, industries, clinical analysis laboratories, research institutes, health surveillance and public health.
URI seeks to train professionals who are aware of permanent improvement and who develop technical capacity, scientific competence to create a leadership spirit, to be a good manager, and sensitivity, so the human issue will be the center of action.
